A few months ago i made the soft jewelry necklace “JOY“ – inspired by the Faun mit Weitblick (faun with a vision), sitting in the court of Landtag Graz. Eventually i visited Graz and the faun again, so he had to model for me – with the necklace on.
My primary idea was to gift him the “PEACE” necklace. But when we visited him with the necklace, i realised that the Landtag court is too well protected from securities all around (of course). And not a good place for a piece of streetart.
Aside from that i saw that the word JOY is a far better choice for a faun than PEACE – and so i made the JOY necklace for a photoshoot with the faun.
There was a young boy watching us and he asked his father “What is a faun?” As he said “This necklace fits the faun really well!“ i was darn happy.
